In the Name of Honour – Cannes, Palais de Festival, MIPCOM
"In the Name of Honour" was present
at Cannes, at Palais de festivals.
The first Romanian telenovela
filmed in HD and produced by MediaPro Pictures for ACASA,
"In the Name of Honour" recorded a thundering success at MIPCOM,
one of the largest and most important international fair for sale
and purchase of television products which took place at Cannes
during the 4th - 8th October.
"We are very happy that the
subject, the storylines and production quality of "In the Name of
Honour" have aroused such a big interest on the international
market. There have never been so many acquisition requests as it
happened this year. We are happy that a Romanian success becomes
international also", said Ruxandra Ion, Producer of "In the Name of
Honour".
Thus the characters played by Radu
Valcan, Madalina Draghici, Maia Morgenstern, Diana Dumitrescu,
Adela Popescu soon will reach viewers' houses in many parts of the
world.
"At this moment, distribution
companies from Latin America, Middle East, Slovenia, Slovakia, but
also territories as Africa, Portugal, Greece and Ukraine showed a
real interest in our product. Media Pro Distribution,
as a sales agent for CME (Central European
Media), was proud to announce at MIPCOM the first Romanian
telenovela produced in High Definition, which is "In the Name of
Honour". This is the reason why we have adopted an aggressive
marketing strategy focused on extensive indoor advertising
presence, but also print ads and articles in prestigious magazines
such as Produccion y Distribucion, C12 and Prensario. Our marketing
strategy aimed mainly the telenovela "In the Name of Honour", but
also included other Eastern European productions distributed by us.
The impact of the marketing campaign was the one expected: "In the
Name of Honour" gained notoriety on the international market, and
this reflected in the large number of customers interested in
knowing more details about this production", said Anca Truta,

production companies from Russia, Portugal, Poland and USA.
